Founded on the principles of patience, understanding, and a passion for safe driving, Taking Care of Driving has been serving the Nottingham and Grantham communities for a combined 15+ years as one of the leading choices of driving instructors.. As a family-run business, we genuinely care about our students’ success and well-being behind the wheel. We recognised the shift towards electric vehicles and wanted to offer learners the chance to experience the benefits of automatic EV driving from the start.

Alongside our team of fully qualified ADI (Approved Driving Instructors) and PDI (Potential Driving Instructors) We have a fully qualifed to masters level Special Educational Needs Professional as part of our family team. She works with our instructors to offer support to help them to understand and best teach and support our diverse learners. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to learn to drive in a supportive, non-judgemental environment. We specialise in creating comfortable learning experiences, particularly for those who might find traditional lessons challenging, making us a leading choice for driving schools for special needs in Nottingham and Grantham.

Lindsey

Hi I'm Lindsey, I am a special educational needs professional and have got a passion for helping people succeed who find it difficult. I am part on the TCD family supporting the instructors to understand how to best help and support our learners who learn in a different way. I enjoying spending my free time with my family, at the gym and watching sports particularly football, darts and F1. I support both arsenal men's and women's teams and follow them closely enjoying going to the Emirates to watch them and also watching as many matches as possible at home.

Hi I'm Gary, I am one of TCD Grantham instructors. I enjoying helping and supporting my students to pass there driving test but also build the confidence and self-esteem in their own abilities. I am an arsenal fan of both the men's and women's teams and love a wide range of different music. You can always ask for particular music to be on in the car if it helps you to concentrate and drive. I also enjoy watching darts, formula 1 and youtube.

Hello, My name is Sharon, I am one of the TCD Grantham instructors. I aim to teach in a calm, no stress environment in my office (the car). I encourage my students to push themselves out of their comfort zone, to achieve the best outcome for them both for passing there test and beyond. I love to talk about an aray of different topics to keep you engaged they include my travelling experiences for example to Egypt. I also enjoying going to the gym completing jigsaw puzzles and alittle reading.

Hi I'm Jess one of TCD Nottingham instructors. My passion is to help people gain confidence of the road to become safe and skilled drivers as well as have enjoyable lessons. In my spare time I like to spend quality time with my family and go on family fun days out. I also enjoy eating out and going to the odd concert. I tailor my lessons to suit you, whether that be that you struggle with anxiety or have additional needs etc. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to drive. When you pass your test it is the best feeling for me as well as for you! It means I have done my job and I've helped another person open up their world, any questions please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hi I'm Andrew, I am one of TCD Nottingham instructors. I am very passionate about supporting and helping people to drive and also helping them to build their confidence and self-esteem as for me learning to drive impacts your whole life and opens up so many more opportunities.
